Gail Apte, PT, ScD, OCS, FAAOMPT
Gail Apte, PT, ScD, OCS, FAAOMPT is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). Dr. Apte graduated from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences, Minnesota in 1981. In 2006, Dr. Apte completed her Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).
Dr. Gail Apte specializes in orthopedic manual physical therapy of the spine and extremities and urogynecological physical therapy and has extensive experience in treating chronic pelvic pain. She has been an assistant professor at TTUHSC. She continues to maintain Adjunct Faculty status at TTUHSC. She teaches Diagnosis and Non-operative Physical Therapy Management of the spine, upper and lower extremities through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine – US. Her research interest is within the topics of incontinence, low back and pelvic pain due to gynecological disorders and other spinal disorders. She has authored several peer-reviewed articles. She has lectured nationally and internationally on topics in orthopedic manual therapy, women’s health and chronic pain.
Gail has two grown children. She lives with her husband and 3 rescued dogs, and cats in Eugene. She enjoys hiking, traveling, playing djembe drums, creating stained glass artwork, and cooking.
Tami Eisaman, PT, DPT
Tami received her Doctor in Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Her clinical experience has been in orthopaedic physical therapy with a specific interest in musculoskeletal disorders of the spine & extremities. She has attended continuing education classes focusing on Functional Orthopedics, Soft Tissue Mobilization, McConnell taping, and sports medicine.
Tami enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her husband & their yellow Lab, along with anything football.
Mike Hillstrand, PT, DPT
Mike completed his Bachelors degree with national honors in Exercise Science and Movement from the University of Oregon in 2002. While studying at the U of O, Mike was part of a research team that studied geriatric populations & balance control issues. He graduated in 2006 form the University of Mary in Bismarck ND with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and with additional elective training in Sports Medicine and Pediatrics. Mike has completed over 100 hours of additional training including certification in kinesio taping method, and most recently completed all coursework required for certification in orthopedic manual therapy.
When Mike is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to church in Harrisburg, exercise and lap swim at a local gym, and playing Garageband.
Jesse Shrive, PTA
Jesse Shrive graduated from the physical therapist assistant program at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon in 2012. She earned a massage therapy certification at the Mendocino School of Holistic Massage in Redwood Valley, California in 2003. She has experienced in soft tissue mobilization techniques including lymphatic drainage, trigger point release and Swedish massage.
In her leisure time, Jesse enjoys bicycling, hiking, kayaking and generally enjoys the great outdoors. She also passes the rainy days creating artwork, playing guitar and singing.
